The Buchanan System B Pluggers are high-quality endodontic instruments that have revolutionized warm gutta percha techniques. These pluggers have a shape that closely matches the final root canal preparation, which maximizes condensation forces on the softened gutta percha without placing undue stress on the root canal system. The System B Heat Source provides an exact temperature throughout the procedure, which ensures that the Buchanan Pluggers do not over-soften the gutta percha and the warm mass fills lateral canals as easily as it seals apically. When you disengage the heat, the pluggers cool almost instantly and separate easily from the condensed gutta percha.
Buchanan Pluggers are compatible with Kerr System B Fill/Obturation (SKU 8543094) and Elements Free System (SKU 8547920). They are available individually or in a pre-packaged kit of five. Additionally, these pluggers cool almost instantly, which makes them very convenient to use.
