Description
Two Striper Diamonds are designed with P.B.S. bonding to maximize the exposure of diamond cutting surfaces. This is particularly effective at the tips and upper circumference of the diamond instrument, where most cutting occurs. The crystals are evenly and precisely placed in a uniform matrix and are permanently fused to a surgical-grade stainless-steel shank. As a drill bit for a rotary cutting mechanism or handpiece, diamond burs are commonly used by dentists to grind down tooth surfaces in preparation for restorations. However, this process often leaves a rough surface that requires polishing.
