The Tri Auto ZX2 is a compact, cordless motor featuring a built-in apex locator. It is designed to assist in achieving apical patency and establishing a glide path using the Optimum Glide Path (OGP) function. The handpiece allows for precise and delicate control of the file, enabling faster and safer treatment, even in challenging cases involving narrow or highly curved canals. The OTR (Optimum Torque Reverse) technology minimizes the risk of file jamming, breakage, and ledge formation. Depending on the file load, the motor switches between forward and reverse rotations incrementally until torsion is released, then continues in the cutting direction.
