Orabloc 4% w/EPI - 1:100K - Bx/50
Orabloc® is an amide local anesthetic with a vasoconstrictor, designed for local, infiltrative, or conductive anesthesia in both simple and complex dental procedures. It is available in a concentration of 4% with epinephrine (EPI) at a ratio of 1:100,000. Each box contains 50 cartridges.

- Articaine Hydrochloride 4% with Epinephrine
- Rapid onset of anesthesia within 1-9 minutes
- Complete anesthesia lasts about 1 hour for infiltration, up to 2 hours for nerve block
- 24-month shelf life at room temperature
- Very low manufacture-related degradation products such as articaine acid and epinephrine sulphonic acid
- Sodium edetate free, methylparaben free, and latex free
- Individually sealed cartridges in blister packaging for maximum protection during storage and handling
Warnings and Precautions:
Orabloc® is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to products containing sulfites. Reactions to Orabloc® may include allergic-type reactions, anaphylactic symptoms, and life-threatening or less severe asthmatic episodes in certain susceptible individuals.
Accidental intravascular injection may lead to convulsions, central nervous system or cardio-respiratory depression, and coma. Dental practitioners should be well-versed in diagnosis and management of emergencies associated with local anesthetic use.
Administration of Orabloc® results in a 3 to 5 fold increase in plasma epinephrine concentrations. Inform patients in advance of the possibility of temporary loss of sensation and muscle function following injections.
Patients should refrain from eating or drinking until normal sensation returns.
