The shades in the VITA Classical Shade Guide are intended to match the Clearfil Majesty ES-2 Classic VITA approved shades. The shade matching function is based on Kuraray's LD Technology, which uses light diffusion to reflect and transmit colour and light from the surrounding dentin and enamel through the composite material. This technology makes it possible for exact colour blending to begin at the initial placement and continue during subsequent visits.
